1. Assembly method of rolling bearing
The assembly of the rolling bearing of the water ring vacuum pump depends on the interference of the rolling bearing and the journal or bearing hole. When the interference is small, the press-fit method is used, and when the interference is large, the shrink-fit method can be used.
When the press-fit method is used for assembly, a copper rod and a hand hammer can be used to strike symmetrically on the inner race with interference in a certain order. In addition, a soft metal sleeve can also be used for hammering or pressing with a press.
When assembling by shrink-fit method, first heat the bearing in the oil, the temperature of the oil should be below 100 ℃, and immediately put it on the journal after taking it out of the oil quickly. The advantage of the shrink-fit method is that it does not destroy the mating properties.
2. The assembly of the coupling
A coupling is a device that connects the driving shaft and the driven shaft together. It is divided into motor coupling and pump coupling. During installation, the two halves of the coupling must be concentric, and a certain and equal axial clearance must be maintained between the two end faces, otherwise the operation and life of the machine will be seriously affected. Therefore, the finding of the coupling is an important part of the assembly work.
1. Different axial requirements of the coupling
The axis of the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be on the same straight line. If there is a certain inclination (that is, the so-called non-axiality), the machine will not run smoothly, resulting in vibration and noise, causing bearing wear and affecting the machine. of life. Therefore, when installing the two halves of the coupling, there should be requirements for different axial degrees.
Since the outer circle dimensions of the two halves of the coupling are equal, the different axial degrees can be checked by the outer circle. The method of inspection is to place a ruler on the outer circle of the two coupling halves, and observe whether the ruler is close to the outer circle of the two couplings. If it is tightly attached to one coupling, but there is a gap with the other coupling, it means that the two couplings are not concentric and need to be adjusted. In this way, check the four positions of the top, bottom, left, and right until they are all close together and there is no gap.
The non-axiality of the coupling shall not exceed 0.05 mm.
2. Axial clearance requirements of the coupling
In order to avoid the collision of the two couplings during operation, a uniform axial clearance should be maintained between the two couplings. The size of the gap can be checked by a feeler gauge, which is generally 4 to 6 mm.
