The liquid level in the gas-water separator directly affects the performance of the DVE vacuum pump. The pumped gas contains steam, which may condense into water and increase the water level, which will increase the power of the motor of the DVE vacuum pump; but it is more likely that the water level will decrease (or even no water) and the pump performance will drop sharply, resulting in a condenser. Pressure changes affect the efficiency of the generator set. At this time, it is very important to control the water level.

Generally, a conventional mechanical floating ball control valve is used to keep the water level within a certain range, and it can automatically flow and discharge when the water level is high. In order to prevent any accidents, the upper and lower limit alarm switches are also installed on the on-site magnetic flap level gauge connected to the separator, which is wired to the control room to provide a remote water level alarm function.
