Installation and use of rotary oil pump
Certain rules must be followed when installing rotary pumps: pumps with small displacement (moving vane type and stationary vane type) should be fixed on a fairly large base, and when installing the pump, it should be taken into account that the use process is easy to access , in order to observe its working condition and replace with new oil, etc.
Piston pumps should be installed on the foundation and secured with bolts, nuts, washers and locknuts. After installation the pump must be carefully wiped clean with a cleaning cloth.
Before starting the pump, it must be washed with vacuum oil and then injected with the required amount of pump. When the pump motor is connected to the circuit, it must be ensured that the motor belt rotates in the correct direction.
To do this, the drive belt must be removed from the pulley of the pump, and the electric motor must be switched on. If the direction of rotation of the motor pulley is consistent with the direction pointed by the pointer on the pump cover, it is correct to connect the motor (if it is standing facing the motor, its pulley should rotate clockwise).
After the motor stops rotating, put on the drive belt, tighten it with the fastening bolts screwed on the slide plate, and finally fix the motor firmly (the air intake pipe of the pump should be sealed at this time).
After this, the pump pulley must be rotated several times by hand, then the pump is switched on and the limit caused by the pump is measured to be empty. In order to prevent oil from splashing out of the pump, do not turn on the pump all at once, but turn on the motor several times intermittently within a short time interval, and the rotor of the pump rotates not more than half in each time interval. change.
In order to limit its emptying, the pressure gauge should be directly connected to the intake pipe of the pump.
