The role of roots vacuum pump in transportation and storage
(1) Temperature crude oil The crude oil extracted from the oil layer is always accompanied by varying amounts of low molecular weight methane, ethane, propane and other hydrocarbon gases and hydrogen sulfide gas. These gases must be removed before storage, transportation and distillation. to stabilize crude oil. At the same time, the aviation gasoline components, especially their isomers (hydrocarbons with high shock resistance in tender materials), which are taken away when the low-molecular-weight hydrocarbon gas is volatilized, are recovered and utilized. In order to reduce the excessive loss of crude oil during storage and transportation, stabilize the composition of crude oil and gasoline products, and not easily change the composition of distillates during storage, in some foreign oil fields, large-scale vacuum crude oil stabilization devices have been established. The crude oil is degassed under the vacuum degree to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the crude oil.
(2) Vacuum refrigeration In order to conveniently store propane and butane separated from crude oil in atmospheric pressure sickle, deep freezing was used to liquefy them in the past, but at present, many foreign manufacturers use vacuum refrigeration to freeze Part of the propane is evaporated under vacuum to easily obtain a low temperature below -48°C, and then propane and butane are liquefied at low temperatures of -48°C and -10°C, respectively, and can be stored or transported.
(3) Discharge the air in the oil tank After the crude oil is not stabilized and loaded into the storage tank, due to the volatilization of light components, when the oil tank "breathes", it will cause a lot of losses. If the storage tank is evacuated with a vacuum device, liquefied petroleum gas (propane and butane) and liquefied natural gas (methane and ethane) can be removed, recovered and used.
